Emergency Hygiene Aid for Vulnerable Displaced Communities

The project aimed to provide urgent humanitarian support to displaced women of Syrian, Palestinian, and Lebanese nationalities residing in shelters and homes by distributing 300 hygiene kits to reduce the spread of diseases. Additionally, a psychosocial activity was organized in King Fahd Garden in collaboration with the Municipality of Tripoli to alleviate stress and anxiety resulting from war trauma. The project focused on meeting basic hygiene needs, enhancing mental health, and upholding human dignity amidst the challenging conditions caused by displacement. A total of 300 displaced women from Syrian, Palestinian, and Lebanese nationalities benefited directly, whether in shelters or homes, while the indirect impact extended to approximately 1,500 individuals from their families and surrounding communities. The psychosocial recreational activity in the garden provided a safe environment for expression, stress relief, and the promotion of psychological and social recovery. This helped the beneficiaries face psychological challenges with greater resilience and stability, improving their quality of life under these difficult circumstances. This project was implemented with funding from the JMED program , which supported the humanitarian efforts to assist displaced women and improve their situation amidst the ongoing crisis.
