Building Resilience and Well-being: Empowering Women for Sustainable Change

In response to the economic and social challenges faced by women in Lebanon, a group of young women, in partnership with LEADING HANDS, organized an impactful excursion titled "FEMININE POWER". at Kroum Restaurant in the village of Bekaa Asoufrine, surrounded by beautiful nature. It successfully included 20 direct beneficiaries, young women aged between 21 and 30. Before the excursion, four women beneficiaries invited the 20 participants and held an awareness session focused on the importance of cultural exchange, stress alleviation, and the benefits of connecting with diverse backgrounds. This session provided valuable insights and motivation for the trip. The event facilitated dialogue among diverse cultures, aimed at alleviating stress, and offered a peaceful environment for participants to connect and engage. It fostered a supportive atmosphere, giving participants the opportunity to express their opinions and share perspectives, which enhanced the overall benefits of cultural exchange.This event focused on providing vital tools to address stress management and foster social connections among participants. The excursion featured a series of interactive workshops aimed at building resilience, offering participants strategies for coping with the pressures of daily life. Social interaction moments further strengthened the bonds between the women, promoting a sense of solidarity and empowerment. A key highlight of the event was the discussion on the importance of mental health care and the rejuvenating effects of reconnecting with nature to restore psychological well-being. This collaborative project, executed in partnership with Association Lueur d’Espoir Kelaa des Sraghnas (Morocco), J-MED (France), and IECD, reflects a unified commitment to empowering young women and promoting sustainable social change.
