After extensive preparations, visits to religious leaders in North Lebanon – Tripoli, and careful selection of trainees from various Lebanese sects and diverse backgrounds (including civil society, associations, universities, and various community influencers or association representatives) in the belief of the values of diversity, solidarity, and coexistence, Leading Hands Organization, in partnership with KAICIID Dialogue Centre, launched today the first phase of the "Peace Promoter Network in Lebanon" The program for the first phase of the project includes: Intensive three-day training. TOT Training Principles and methodologies of effective training Interfaith dialogue and cultural competence Conflict resolution and nonviolent communication Peacebuilding Leadership Gender mainstreaming Youth, peace, and security plan Cooperation, communication, and support This training received positive feedback from the trainees and is considered an added value to all institutions as it aims to empower trainers to combat hate speech, establish dialogue, build peace, and practice nonviolent communication
